Ryan McElhiney, M.P.T

Ryan McElhiney has been the owner of Linden Oaks Physical Therapy since 2005. Ryan received his Masters of Physical Therapy from Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania in 2003. Ryan has treated a wide range of orthopedic patients, including patients with low back pain, joint replacements, balance dysfunctions, neurological impairments, as well as post-surgical patients. He is dedicated to creating individualized treatment programs to achieve maximum functional ability for each patient. In 2010, Ryan received his certification in the McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy of the Spine. In 2011, Ryan began working toward a Manual Therapy Certification at the University of St. Augustine, where he is also enrolled in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program. Ryan plans on obtaining his Manual Therapy Certification in 2013, and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2014. Ryan enjoys taking continuing education courses to stay at the cutting edge of evidence based practice in Physical Therapy. Ryan is skilled in Kinesio taping, and also has continuing education experience in the Graston Technique.


Lauren Magin Lauren Magin graduated from the University at Buffalo in 2004 with a B.A. in Psychology, then went on to receive her Physical Therapist Assistant degree in 2006. After working at Linden Oaks as a PTA for six years, Lauren decided to further her education at the University of Findlay in Ohio. She graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in the fall of 2012, and has returned as a valuable member of our team. Lauren brings an expertise in outpatient orthopedics and neurological care, including balance dysfunctions and gait training. Lauren is skilled in Kinesio taping, and also has continuing education experience in the Graston Technique. Lauren prefers using a hands-on, manual therapy approach during sessions with her patients.

Jenna Dellavilla received her B.S. in Exercise Science from the University at Buffalo in 2009, then got her Physical Therapist Assistant degree in 2011 from Genesee Community College.  Her exercise science background is a valuable asset in outpatient orthopedics, and she has experience in acute post-surgical rehab, cardiac rehab, and neurological rehab as well.  Jenna has been a member of the Linden Oaks Physical Therapy team since graduating in 2011.  Jenna's continuing education experience has included a course in the Graston Technique, which is an instrument assisted soft tissue treatment used to improve patient outcomes.

Nanette Thompson, PT - Nanette graduated from Daemen College in 1993 earning her Bachelors of Science Degree in Physical Therapy with a minor in Biology. She has more than 23 years of clinical experience in the Rochester area where she has established professional relationships with area orthopedic and primary care physicians, oral and maxillofacial specialists and dentists creating a teamwork approach to patient care and treatment.

Nanette specializes in the treatment of orthopedic, spinal and post surgical conditions with a special interest in the treatment of TMJ disorders. Her treatment approach is hands on and her primary focus is providing the best care possible to support her patients in restoring their pain free function and achieving their goals for maximizing their quality of life.

Nanette is trained in Mulligan, Laslett and McKenzie concepts and has completed and remains active in achieving numerous continuing education hours to further her knowledge and manual therapy skills. She has worked as a clinical instructor in the private practice and outpatient settings and as adjunct faculty at Nazareth College. Nanette was a guest speaker at the Finger Lakes Sports Medicine Symposium sponsored by The Sports Medicine Center at FF Thompson Hospital where she presented on TMJ Common Disorders and Treatment Approaches.



Susan Parker, PT,DPT - Susan graduated from Ithaca College and recently earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from DesMoines University. Susan has over 30 years of experience in the field of physical therapy with extensive training in pelvic health and orthopedics.
Susan co-owned Greater Rochester Physical Therapy for 25 years and was the Director of the Women’s Health Program.  She has focused her practice on the treatment of women's health musculoskeletal diagnoses including pregnancy/post-partum musculoskeletal pain, pelvic pain, incontinence and osteoporosis.  Susan works closely with specialty physicians to determine the best course of treatment.  She also treats men with incontinence and pelvic floor dysfunction.
Susan has lectured locally, nationally and internationally. She has completed numerous continuing education courses in orthopedics and pelvic health. She also completed the Community Spine Pathways Training in preparation to become a Primary Spine Provider. She has been an active member of  The International Pelvic Pain Society, including serving on the Board of Directors and currently serves on the Advisory Board. In addition, she is a member of the American Physical Therapy Associations Section on Women’s Health, National Vulvodynia Association and International Continence Association.
Susan has extensive experience in the treatment of outpatient orthopedic conditions including neck, back, pelvic, hip, knee and shoulder injuries.  She’s dedicated to providing evidence based treatment and achieving optimal patient outcomes. Susan’s goal is to return you to your optimal level of function at home, work or and play.  Her programs emphasize education, instruction in home exercise programs, and strategies to assist you to manage your symptoms. She is a lifelong learner who is passionate about sharing the knowledge she gains from continuous learning opportunities with her patients.



Francesca Savage, PT, DPT, WCS, cert Pelvic CAPP, cert MDT - Francesca PT, DPT, WCS, cert Pelvic CAPP, cert MDT is a 2009 graduate of Arcadia University Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Francesca received her B.S in Biology and minor in Chemistry from SUNY Geneseo in 2006. In 2009 Fran completed Good Shepherd Penn Partners (GSPP) Pelvic Floor Specialty Internship and this began her passion towards the specialty. She continues to pursue advancing her pelvic floor training to help male and female patients suffering from pelvic floor dysfunction. Francesca is an American Physical Therapy Association Board Certified Women’s Health Clinical Specialist (WCS) and has her Certificate of Achievement in Pelvic Physical Therapy (Pelvic CAPP) through the Section on Women’s Health (SoWH). Francesca is also certified in McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy of the Spine (cert MDT). Francesca has worked as an Advanced Clinician mentoring students, residents, providing community and hospital lectures, and teaching academically for University therapy programs. Fran is an avid runner and 2 time All- American in Track and Field, as well as part of the National Champion 2006 SUNY Geneseo Cross Country Team.




Andrea Costello - Andrea received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Gannon University, graduating in 2010. Since that time, she has worked in the outpatient orthopedic setting, treating patients with a variety of conditions including neck and back pain, arthritis, tendonitis, joint sprain, muscle strain, as well as gait and balance dysfunction. She also has a very strong background in post-operative rehabilitation. Andrea is dedicated to providing patient-focused care, including manual treatment and individual treatment plans. Andrea is a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner and has also taken classes to be able to use the Graston Technique. She loves to attend continuing education courses to further her skills and offer better treatment to her patients.
